WHY EXHIBIT?
Sponsorship Opportunities & Information For 2010 Event Coming Soon
Dear Multi-Housing Industry Professional: Over the last several weeks, we’ve heard from many of your peers and industry thought leaders about their concerns with the message it sends to investors, developers, property managers, and those allied to the multi-housing industry when they hear reports of the dismal attendance of decision makers and participation by sponsors at the major multi-housing industry events this year. We’ve heard concerns that the economy’s impact on T&E budgets is being mistaken for concerns about the lack of opportunities within this important industry. We’ve seen it ourselves as we’ve communicated with senior level professionals to invite them to Multi-Housing World’s 2009 Leadership Summit. While they’ve applauded our evolving the event into a conference-based, senior leadership networking opportunity, T&E budget reductions (any in many cases eliminations) have them planning on taking a hiatus in 2009, and committing to a return in 2010. As a result of the economy, their business has changed in both structure and execution, and they’re taking the remainder of 2009 to focus on business process improvement by means of education through print and digital resources. With our driving mission being to be a steward of our legacy, and yet a champion of our future, we’re left with the question of whether our focus is on serving the industry’s needs and addressing their concerns, or on any potential impact of delaying our annual conference. To that end, please look for the exciting details about the rescheduled event for Spring 2010, its unprecedented venue and schedule, as well as our special webcast series being presented this Fall to provide those that can’t travel with the information they need to come out of this tough economy stronger than ever. Thank you.
